Combining meticulous artistry, subtle humor, and rigorous attention to the physical properties of imaginary substances, MC Escher (Dutch 1889-1972) created worlds whose absurd, impeccably principled physics and rogue geometrics flout perspective and laugh in the face of gravity.

In Escher's universe, walls, floors, and ceilings may share the same plane, infinite;y iterative, `flat' beasts may achieve three dimensions, then subside again into flatness; every surface has the elasticity of a balloon. Natural laws do apply here - but not the ones we're used to.

This mousepad measure 7 3/4 x 9 1/4 inches and is manufactured with a washable finish. Its texture is mouse-friendly and it allows for high-quality reproductions.
