Bidding, Play, and Defense

The original Counting at Bridge came out in 1996 and was an immediate success. The sequel shows another one hundred hands using counting principles in play and defense and it also has something special: it discusses bidding. Not necessarily conventions although some of them do come up. The emphasis is on bidding judgment.

Bonus Quiz Section.

Included is a bidding quiz section showing 25 common but perplexing bidding problems. One typical example:

1   1
?

You have an ordinary opening bid like the following.

 A87
 KQ1074

Do you rebid

Why?

The original, Counting at Bridge, is still one of the most successful Bridge teaching products on the market. This program continues in the same vein, with one hundred brand new hands covering bidding, play, and defense. It is a worthy successor to the original.
