"At first, I wondered if this program would appeal to boys
but my own 5 year old put that fear to rest. He immediately recognized the
program from the book and was excited to help Miss Spider's friends go to the
tea party. The games were challenging but not overwhelming, and he completed
the first level in about an hour. Today he's been working on the second level -
because he *wants* to! That's the best sort of software around. "

"Through eight lively games, youngsters help their favorite
arachnid pull off the dandiest of teas. Clever activities will engage kids ages
3 to 7 as they help Miss Spider's friends -- beetles, crickets, fireflies,
ladybugs, bees and butterflies -- overcome obstacles to join her at the big
party. Gorgeous animation and rich 3-D graphics bring this gem to life while
staying true to the flavor of the book's artwork. A steal of a price and must
for the reader on your list who also enjoys computer time."
"Miss Spider's Tea Party" is what every educational disc
should aspire to be. Vividly drawn from the best-selling books by David Kirk,
Miss Spider asks for a lot of help from the user to gather guests for a tea
party. Each problem solved brings more wild bug friends to the table. The
problems, of course, are entertaining games withn the game that teach simple
math and reading lessons, with gentle Miss Spider offering her hints or
encouragement along the way. This continues to be a preschool favorite.****
