This software is easy to install on Mac- or PC-based systems, our screen savers can be set up to cycle continuously, changing images at any interval the user selects, or used as wallpaper. (That is: one image comes on at startup and stays put until a different one is selected.) Image sets can be customized so that the user need only see favorites. Detailed information (media, dimensions, date, etc.) for each image, and a concise biography of the artist, may be had at the click of a mouse.

B. Kliban

Cartoonist and illustrator `Hap' Kliban created phenomenally popular cartoons and books; his work has been translated into several languages. But Kliban is probably best known as the author of Cat. Surly and euphoric, daft and pensive by turns, his ponderously dignified striped tabbies added up to a bestseller that touched off decades of worldwide Catmania.

B. Kliban died in 1990, but his Cats (and his other characters) live on. Kliban's cartoons have become classics of humor.
