Oswald Chambers (1874-1917) was described by his
friends as a great evangelical thinker and great expositor, but above all a man
of great spiritual stature. He was born in Aberdeen, Scotland, and much of his
childhood was spent there. His career of service took him for a time to the
United States and Japan, but the two outstanding periods of his work were as
principal of the Bible Training College in Clapham, England, and as chaplain at
camp Zeitoun, Egypt, during the First World War.
Thomas Kinkade is the most beloved and widely
collected artist of our day. Each year millions of people around the world are
drawn to the luminous quality and tranquil mood of Kinkade's paintings and
include his creations in their lives through prints, books, calendars, and
countless other collectibles. An inspired idealist, Kinkade believes art has
the power to touch people's hearts and change their lives. Kinkade lives in
Northern California with his wife and three daughters.
