Its features include captivating theme-related art, animations, music, and sound effects; a talking Castle Fact Book; Story Ideas creatively presented to children by children; a Sample E-Book (interactive electronic book) written using Destination: Castle; and expert tips for parents. Destination: Castle provides opportunities for theme-focused learning in a variety of subject areas. Your child can learn about medieval life, discover new writing techniques, make reports, compose illustrations, or invent imaginary tales of knights and dragons.

Powerful, but friendly, tools provide endless creative possibilities:

• Animated stickers can rotate and automatically resize against colorful background art.
• Prerecorded or child-produced sounds, narration, and music enliven stickers and scenes.
• Text may either be framed in decorative borders or entered directly onto backgrounds.
• Your child's finished product can be printed, or produced on-screen as an interactive electronic book.

Younger children can use the program as a computerized puppet theater or doll house by selecting backgrounds and filling them with stickers (medieval characters and props). Older children can create elaborate interactive E-Books with stickers that automatically resize and rotate, prerecorded sound effects or original speech and sounds, music, and text. The finished product can be printed or produces on-screen as an E-Book. Powerful Adult Options allow you to turn features on or off so the program can "grow with your child."
