Discover the Secrets of Your Past, Present & Future

Developed by Douglas Rushkoff

Cyber Tarot brings the ancient art to the twenty-first century. Here is a fast, simple way to explore the world of tarot, to ask questions about your future, and reflect on prevailing influences in your life.

Tarot has been a trusted source of divinations for thousands of years. Now Cyber Tarot combines the trusted methods of traditional Tarot with the convenience and accessibility of the computer age. Cyber Tarot is a simple but flexible program designed to help both beginning users and professionals. Cyber Tarot incudes every tool you need to conduct a thorough reading.

Spreading the Tarot

Identifying A User. To begin a reading, you will need to identify the user for whom the reading is being done.

Choosing a Deck. Cyber Tarot comes with two complete decks (the Cyber Tarot Deck and the Rider-Waite deck), each with its own symbolic images and analytic descriptions.

Choosing a Spread. A spread is a pattern in which cards are dealt. Cyber Tarot includes four preset spreads: Celtic Cross; Past, Present and Future; Seven Stars; and Making a Choice.

Deciding How to Shuffle. Cyber Tarot uses Virtual Shuffling to give you complete control over the shuffling of the deck. You can shuffle and cut the cards as frequently as you want.

Placing the Cards. Cyber Tarot lets you place particular cards into particular positions.

Reading the Tarot

Interpreting a Spread. The suggested methods of interpreting a spread include Cards in Positions, Neighbor, Intuition and Trends.

Understanding the Cards. The more familiar you are with the Tarot deck, the more easily and thoroughly you will be able to conduct a reading. There are many systems by which the cards can be analyzed, ranging from Jungian archetypes to astrological definitions. Some of the basic concepts to understand include the Major Arcana, the Minor Arcana, Numerology, Symbolism and Ritual.
