Reviews:HomePC, February 1997 "Think of Let's Talk About Me! as a kind of teen 'zine on disc. It features interviews with famous women, segments on hairstyles and fashion, horoscopes, a password-protected diary, a digital scrapbook and an online connection to swap messages with other girls. "'It's cool,' said Kristen, 11, amazed at the variety of activities. 'You're able to change hairstyles on the models or write stories about the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you. "'This is my favorite area,' she continued, as she popped into the Ultimate Closet activity, where she proceeded to mix and match blouses, skirts, pants and shoes in various ensembles - although she said it'd have been better 'if you could put them on a model.' "The disc is best suited to preteens, but the younger girls in our Lab also enjoyed the activities, even if they didn't always appreciate their educational value. 'I want to play with the clothes,' said Laura, 7, clicking her way through the Ultimate Closet. From there she went to an activity about anatomy, where body parts are discussed as girls click on them. But Laura seemed to miss the finer points of the lesson. 'Look!' she exclaimed. 'A butt!'" Computer Shopper, April 1998 "Let's Talk About Me Some More from Davidson/Simon & Schuster Interactive is a two-CD-ROM set composed of the original interactive guide to life, fashions, and fun - Let's Talk About Me - plus a brand-new sequel CD-ROM called Let's Talk About Me, Too. Both CD-ROMs serve mainly as part confidante, part best friend, and part fashion consultant for preteen and teenage girls." "Although Let's Talk About Me Some More is recommended for girls ages 12 and older, parents will want to keep in mind that it deals candidly with coming-of-age issues, including sex. Let's Talk About Me Some More gives preteen and teenage girls exactly what they want the most: a mixture of quizzes, advice, fashion, and fun in an upbeat, engaging, and irreverent package."
