Older product (copyright 1994) in Printed Color Paper Sleeve. The best-selling children's dictionary is now an innovative multimedia CD-ROM. It's 12,000 word entries are enhanced with some 1,000 illustrations, word histories and language notes as well as pronunciations and sound effects. Kids can also play Spelling Bee, Hangman or Words Within Words, allowing them to quiz themselves on words at random or from homework assignments. It has an animated character named 'Zak' who interacts with the user. 'Zak' pops up when errors are made, and is a funny friend who appears unexpectedly to react to certain words. Kids can also create their own list of favorite words to play with.
