"Zaptialism is a light-hearted business sim that
challenges you to take on the role of a fledgling entrepreneur on the peculiar
island of Zapinalia. Created by the team that did Gazillionaire, this game exhibits the same creativity
and care that went into its predecessor..."
"The idea is that you are hired to run one of six competing
import shops, each selling such oddball items as heppers, jazz lumps, and
weezers (jazz lumps, for example, are magical glops of clay that record and
play back catchy tunes) to the strange people of Zapinalia. These items may be
more colorful than your usual timber stocks or VCRs, but at the end of the day
you still have to sell enough of them to stay in business."
"Zapitalism, with its humorous game world and
relatively simple economic system, is a sincere effort at demystifying the
genres of empire building and economic sims ..."
