Bring Long-Extinct Creatures Back to Life

Get up close and personal with 50 different species of dinosaurs, follow in the footsteps of famous paleontologists, travel the world in search of fossils, and even dig up and assemble your own animated dinosaurs. It's all there beneath the Eyewitness Museum, plus plenty of 3D models, interactive exhibits, animations and video, even simulated dinosaur sounds.

Enter the suberranean world beneath the Eyewitness Museum and travel a quarter of a billion years into the past, when dinosaurs like the terrifying Tyrannosaurus and the vicious Velociraptor stalked the prehistoric earth. In this spectacular 3D environment, you'll learn about dinosaurs by searching for fossils to assemble and bring to life as fully animated dinosaurs. On your way to the Dinosaur Excavation Site, travel through time tunnels, visit the Arena, watch videos and animations, take interactive quizzes, and even listen to specially simulated dinosaur sounds.

More than just a guide to these fascinating creatures, Eyewitness Virtual Reality Dinosaur Hunter lets you become an intrepid dinosaur hunter as you explore the prehistoric past.

Inside the Dinosaur Arena zoom in on brilliantly rendered, fully animated 3D dinosaurs in the Arena, and learn all about dinosaur behavior, anatomy, and movement through interactive exhibits.

Time tunnels take you from the Triassic through the Cretaceous periods. Along the way, watch videos and animations and manipulate 3D objects to learn more about each dinosaur.

Take the elevator down to the Excavation Site, dig for fossilized bones to piece together - and when your dinosaur is complete, watch it come to life and roam around the museum. Six partially completed skeletons are included.

Interactive Exhibits. 3D models let you maipulate dino-related artifacts and amazing dinosaur parts.

Packed with facts, each Dino Profile includes information on size, habitat, range, feeding habits, major finds, and much more, accessible through a clear, intuitive interface.

The Dino Online console is your doorway to DK's live dinosaur magazine on the Internet. Exciting features, competitions, and the latest dinosaur news and updates are yours to browse. Enter if you dare.
