Wonders of Science
Earth constantly spins, so why shouldn't your head? Join
Professor Virgil Reality on a fantastic voyage from the age of dinosaurs to the
heart of an atom. Laugh at man's most ridiculous inventions. Discover the

a virus, Virgil puts the "YOU" in universe, and teaches you that everything is
connected.
Can Your Science Book Do
This?

Includes hundreds of activities such as home experiments, making paper
airplanes, games, printing greeting cards and building dioramas.
Enter the world of microorganisms through
Virgil's compound and electron microscopes. View earthworm intestines, brain
tissue, protozoa and some cool disgusting stuff, too.
Learn about the coolest scientists the world
has ever known - from Albert Einstein to Leonardo da Vinci to Thomas
Edison.
Want to know more about any topic Virgil is
discussing? Just access The Columbia Encyclopedia where you'll learn more facts
than even your parents and teachers know.
Have you ever seen a horse roller skate? Or
slept in an Alarm-O-Bed? Learn about some of the wackiest inventions ever
built.
Check out dozens of exciting films and

Reviews:
boot, February 1997
"Virgil Reality is a thoroughly engaging trip through
the world of science, combining an interactive laboratory and an encyclopedic
science library in a madcap format that will appeal to kids and parents
alike.
"You're guided through this animated universe by Professor
Virgil Reality (voiced convincingly by Charles Fleischer) who explains,
educates, and encourages scientific experimentation. Along the way, view
historic film footage from the National Archives and NASA, or check out wacky
inventions such as the Police Hooking Car and Alarm-O-Bed. Browse biographies
of famous inventors, such as Enrico Fermi (the Manhattan Project) and Ada
Lovelace (the world's first computer programmer); perform simple experiments to
discover basic scientific principles; or view slides on an electron
microscope.
"Virgil Reality's animation and production values are
top notch, (including the catch 'Biology Song' co-written by Fleischer and
Scott Page, the former saxophonist for Pink Floyd).
"If life were a science fair, Virgil Reality would
win the blue ribbon for sure."
