The Ideal Partner for All Chess Players

Includes Interactive Chess Lessons for Beginners

Virtual Chess 2 is a genuine Artificial Intelligence engine, optimized to run on the very latest processors (Pentium MMX, PRO and II). It applies all the official rules of Chess and its parameters are entirely user-definable.

It is capable of selective thought and of adapting to all playing levels, from a beginner who simulates human errors to the world class levels. The program has a best recorded performance of 2680 ELO and has even beaten Nigel Short, the runner-up in the 1993 World Championships. Many new features have been added to Virtual Chess II including notations, commentaries, statistics, diagram printouts and multiple games.

Virtual Chess 2, the chess program for PC CD ROM came first at the 1997 edition of the French Championship. Following this victory, Virtual Chess 2 won for the second time in a row the ICCA World Microcomputer Professional Chess Championship. Thirty four participants from ten countries competed during long games of six hours. Virtual Chess 2 kept its title with a score of 8 out of 11 points.

These awards add to the many already won by Virtual Chess, including the 22nd International Open of Aubervilliers and the Harvard Cup, confirming Virtual Chess 2 as the best title on the market today.
