The Man, His Life, His
Works
Experience the world of Van Gogh: His art, his words and the
music of his time.
Follow this brilliant painter's dramatic life through
Holland, Paris and especially the Provence where he created many of his most
celebrated works. Tour the actual sites where Van Gogh lived and worked.
Discover the specific spots where he set up his easel and witness how his eyes
and brush captured a scene.
At your own pace, revisit six critical periods in the
artist's life. Explore the hypertext Chronology, browse through the Index of
200 paintings, consult the Dictionary of Impressionism, hear selections from
Van Gogh's letters in their original language or visit the Music Gallery
featuring the music and biographies of period composers.
