The roleplaying game Valhalla Chronicles is set in an undefined mythological/historical version of the Viking world somewhere around the years 800-1000. The game will unravel an epic story of a time of Vikings, discovery, adventures, raging wars and mythology. Valhalla Chronicles will not only take you to Miklagård (Constantinople) and Vinland (North America) but also to Valhalla, Svartalfheim, Hel and Muspelheim. As one of four heroes you must interact with humans and gods and choose your allies with caution in order to complete your mission. You will meet the powerful and short fused Thor; god of thunder, the wise Odin; god of magic and wisdom and the vile and deceitful Loke, half god and half-giant.

Four heroes, four faiths, four adventures - prepare for a journey deep into a dangerous world you have never experienced before and meet the challenges of Valhalla Chronicles.

Game Play

You start VALHALLA CHRONICLES as a chieftain of a small human Viking village in Midgård. From this place you have the possibility to travel by foot or by longship to other places in Midgård, hire up to six retainers and through skillful trading and warfare expand your wealth and territory. But first, of course, you have to build the ship. In your journey through the realm and domains of Midgård, you’ll be able to interact with various human characters from other cultures. After you’ve gained certain amount of wealth and fortune it’s time to take on the role of a true Viking adventurer, as characters blessed by your fame an honor starts giving you a wide variety of missions. A mission can be such a simple task as finding an old priest lost artifact, or maybe a little bit more complicated missions such as gaining control over a bigger city. The success or failure of the mission is up to you.

As the threat of RAGNARÖK draws closer, creatures from other worlds starts to break down the barriers between the worlds and starts rampaging through the world of Midgård. These creatures are the sinister henchmen of Loke, and they will do their best to stop your hero in his quest. If you master your missions skillfully, portals to other worlds in VALHALLA CHRONICLES will open up before you and give you access to the outer parts of the world. New domains to explore and new characters to gain knowledge from. In the outer realms, even tougher missions will be laid on your hero's shoulders by the gods. Finally, if your hero is tough enough, you will take part in the ultimate battle between the Gods of Valhalla and the Great Giants. It is up to you to defeat the evil Loke and halt the coming of Rangnarök - the destruction of all worlds

Game Play

Explore the world of Norse mythology, where giants, trolls, and gods are your enemies or allies.

Interact with a multitude of citizens, traders, monsters, and gods.

Collect the eight runes of power. Every rune has its own special magical power and together they can save or destroy the world.
