Ultima Underworld: The Stygian
Abyss
Step into the first continuous-movement, first-person
3D-dungeon, action fantasy in Ultima Underworld: The Stygian Abyss. You'll
walk, run, swim and jump through 25 miles of sheer terror, casting spells,
vanquishing foes and solving puzzles as you race to rescue the baron's
kidnapped daughter.
Look down on objects at your feet, or up to see creatures
hovering overhead - every wall, precipice, object and character has been
painstakingly modeled in 3-D space.
See your weapons lash out and stagger your foes - view the
visual effect of each magic spell.
Write your own comments on the automatically generated map
to remember important objects, characters and landmarks.
Hear a full, orchestral score and view lush, 256-color VGA
graphics in ORIGIN's latest multimedia experience.
Ultima Underworld II: Labyrinth of
Worlds
The world of Underworld II: Labyrinth of Worlds is more
varied and engaging than ever before. We've added new terrain features (like
shifting floors, water currents and thin ice), new spells (like Shockwave and
Portal), new and nastier traps and puzzles, and new creatures (we'll let you
discover these for yourself...).
Underworld II takes you beyond the traditional dungeon
environment. Deep in the earth, the Guardian's magic has cracked the walls of
reality, opening the way to eight new worlds beyond Britannia: a city buried in
ice, a floating castle, and ancient tomb and more...
Eight new worlds to explore - from fantastic castle to ice
caverns, towers and totally alien realms.
A larger, more panoramic 3-D view window.
Larger, higher-resolution creature graphics, with more
animation frames for smoother, more lifelike movement.
The ability to save game screens - including Underworld's
unparalleled automap - as .GIF files.
