This program for use with Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator Publisher: Abacus Game / Addon Fearsome Air Battles of the 332nd Fighter GroupJoin the US's pioneering 332nd Fighter Group in World War Two as you smash ground targets and protect Allied bombers from Lufwaffe marauders. Despite frequent harsh criticism, the US's first Afro-American fighter pilots graduated from Tuskegee flight school and earned one of the best records of the war. Allied bomber crews eagerly welcomed the 332nd's "Red-tailed Angels," and Axis pilots dreaded their arrival. Flying more than 1,500 missions, these fighter pilots didn't lose a single bomber under their guard to enemy fighters. Now you can fly the famous red-tail P-51 Mustang (in six paint schemes), as well as the 332nd's earlier mounts: the P-47 Thunderbolt, P-40 Warhawk, AT-6 Texan and Stearman bi-plane trainer. Each aircraft is recreated in life-like detail with smoothly animated moving control surfaces. These aircraft will take you into action in North Africa, Sicily, Italy and Germany, where you'll pummel Axis ground forces, dogfight enemy fighters and protect the huge B-17 Flying Fortresses. Twenty original missions put you in the heat of combat. Each mission is based on historical records, so you'll fly when and where the 332nd flew, attacking the targets they faced. Abacus' library of unique exploding scenery objects recreates the flames, explosions and smoke, covering you with the grime of battle. Are you good enough to fly with WWII's best? Each Tuskegee Fighters aircraft boasts real-world flight characteristics and historically accurate paint and armament.
Tuskegee Fighters's aircraft are modeled with life-like detail. Each plane's markings are drawn from the real-world fighters flown by the Tuskegee aviators. All the planes, from the bi-plane trainer flown at Tuskegee to the advanced P-51 that battled over Berlin, recreate realistic flight dynamics for an unmatched CFS experience.
