Reviews:

CD-ROM Today, April 1996

"TekWar may not be as addictive as the futuristic narcotic (Tek) from which it draws its name, but it is a pleasant surprise. Unlike Doom, this 3D action-game is anchored in the familiar, giving it a jolt of realism.

"It also changes the rules. Los Angeles of 50 years hence is thick with shops, office buildings, and noncombatant civilians - you can't just pull out your gun and start blasting. Well, you can, but it's not a great idea: You'll send the population into a crouch, cops and security guards will open fire on you, and William Shatner will yell at you when the mission ends."
