It is a time of great upheaval. The first Death Star has been destroyed, marking a major victory for the Rebellion. But the Empire remains strong. As commander, you must choose to take control of either the Rebel Alliance or the Galactic Empire. Your goal: complete domination of the galaxy.

Star Wars Rebellion gives you a myriad of means to implement strategy and tactics on a grand scale and in a real-time environment. You are in Total Command:
Be it for the Rebel Alliance or the Galactic Empire, the decisions you make in the Command Center will affect an entire galaxy. Deploy fleets, manage resources, direct manufacturing, assign missions and appoint exploration. Every decision is critical to the outcome.

Characters are Crucial:
From Luke Skywalker to some of the lesser known, though no less formidable characters such as Mazer Rackus and Admiral Thrawn, Star Wars Rebellion features a total of 60 heroes and villains drawn from the Star Wars saga. Each mission is significant and it is vital you choose the appropriate character to carry it out.

Innovative 3D Space Combat:
When two warring fleets meet over a world, the Tactical component of the game automatically kicks in. Let the AI play out engagements or take command yourself. Control task forces or fighter squadron groups. Issue orders or assign targets - almost a game in itself.

Welcome to a Real (Time) Rebellion:
Immerse yourself in a grand strategy that takes place in a real-time environment. Even as you play in two-player mode - over a network, via the Internet, or direct connect - the action id constant. There is no downtime. Or, as a great Rebel general once said `There is no rest in war.'

Comprehensive Encyclopedia:
With such a vast amount of data to manage, Star Wars Rebellion includes a comprehensive encyclopedia. From characters to spacecraft to worlds, the encyclopedia contains all you need to know about relative strengths and weaknesses of every component of the game.
