Real Time Strategy with the
Weapons of Today's Military!
Based on the Official Joint Chiefs of Staff training
game developed for the US Military!
Terrorists are threatening the free world - and the only
power capable of stopping them is the US Military.
The outcome is uncertain, but, as history has shown,
leadership matters. You control the balance of power. Choose your side, marshal
your forces and make real war upon your enemy.
Real War is the only Real-Time Strategy game where you are
in command of today's military - with a few special items right off the
Pentagon's drawing boards.
The
Story:
After unknown terrorists attack a foreign USA base, the
United States of America launches a missile strike against the terrorist
compound. When the USA missile attack sets off a nuclear weapon hidden within
the base, the terrorists accuse the USA of launching nuclear weapons.
After word of the USA attack spreads, many nations in the
eastern hemisphere begin to believe that the USA has become too powerful and
has turned into a power hungry nation. These nations join forces to create the
Independent Liberation Army (ILA) and devise a plan to rid the eastern
hemisphere of US military influence.
In Real War - Based on the Official
Joint Chiefs of Staff Training Game, you will:
Engage in 24 Missions: 12 as the US Military and 12 as
the terrorist Independent Liberation Army - win as either side.
Control more than 60 Military units, all of which
become tougher and faster with experience.

Deploy special units including spy satellites, propaganda planes, stealth
bombers and electronic jammer planes.
Encounter Military AI as used in the official training
game.
Build and protect supply lines to bring in resources -
no artificial resource gathering.
Utilize special forces on terrain where no other units
can go.
Employ anti-personnel measures from mines to nuclear
missiles to bio chemical weapons.
Fight online against up to 3 other commanders over the
Internet or LAN.

"I was very happy to be able to play this game right out of
the box. So many games these days are shipped with bugs. I end up having to
download a patch before getting to play a game that I just purchased. Not with
this game. Although I was able to find one bug in the game, I can't be sure if
it was caused by my computer or not. The game crashed once and I could never
re-create the error.
"The graphics on this game are rich and full. I would
say that is the best part about this game. Opening cut scenes are beautiful and
the graphics carry over into the gameplay too.
