Flora: Flora is an ingenious key to over 100 of the wild plants most likely to be found in school and college grounds. There is an optional audio track for those complicated Latin names. Plan: Plan takes student through the stages involved in planning, carrying out and evaluating an investigation. At any stage the user may review all information entered up to that point and the plan can be edited, saved or dumped to a suitable printer. Data: Data gives information about plants such as stomatal densities, seed storage compounds, photosynthetic pigments, plant genome sized and the genetic code. Images: There are Images throughout the resource, many of which have been specially drawn. All of the data sections are searchable by text and key words.
