The Interactive Periodic Table on CD-ROM provides extensive scientific data on the elements, with information about where they are found and their applications. Discover the properties of each element and record figures such as melting and boiling points. Properties covered include name, symbol, atomic number and mass, electronic configuration, ionization energies, ionic radii, oxidation states and much more.

Multimedia

The Interactive Periodic Table features a wide range of multimedia sources from animated physical structures and flame tests, to photographs which help to illustrate the atomic, physical and chemical properties of the elements. The CD-ROM also includes carefully selected video footage from the TV program "The Elements." Audio excerpts include Liverpool poet Roger McGough reciting his poems about the elements and a recording of Tom Lehrer's famous song.
