A Game Where You'll Always Find Fun

Hey! Wanna come along on a treasure hunt? Then tag along with Zach on a fantastic adventure through 12 amazing scenes, filled with everything from animals to the letter "z."

We'll provide the clues. It's your job to find the lost objects. But don't worry, we're not sending you off on the hunt alone. Zoom in with the magical magnifying glass. Still don't see it? Then click on the flashlight...oh, there it is! Either way, our friend Zach's always ready to help.

Choose a piece of the puzzle - there's a cool musical note for each one - and wait for the adventure to begin. There are eight random clues given for every scene, and plenty of rewards along the way.

So, join Zach in the search through the treasure-filled world of Lost and Found!

Requirements:

Windows: MPC2 Compliant, CD-ROM drive, 486SX 25 Mhz, 4 Mb RAM, Windows 3.1 or later, VGA 256 colors, mouse, audio card.

Reviews:

HomePC, June 1995

"Kids who try Lost and Found discover a program of simple pleasures they'll enjoy again and again as they search for missing items amid the jumbled mess depicted on screen."

"In our test, preschoolers competed to see who could find the missing item first. There's not a lot of depth to the game, but it does get kids to don their thinking caps, listen carefully to the clues and exercise their powers of observation.

"The game has three volumes; each challenges kids to find eight items in any of 12 cluttered collections. But the items in each picture change at random, so no game ever plays the same way twice - which means these discs won't sit on the shelf collecting dust."

Multimedia World, January 1995

"The title, targeted to an audience of 6- to 8-year-olds, is in the grand treasure-hunt tradition of Where's Waldo: Quirky scenes in a variety of themes hide items to be hunted out, with either a very sharp eye or the aid of a virtual flashlight and magnifying glass. The graphics are crisp, clean, and imaginative, and the 12 puzzles are enough to keep kids happily occupied for hours on end.

"An intuituve interface and upbeat soundtrack help make this a fun exercise in vocabulary and critical-skill building, and a worthwhile addition to your child's CD-ROM library."

Electronic Entertainment, January 1995

"Each scene comes with an audio poem that provides clues for finding each object. For example, in Tub Toy Fun, the clue for selecting a particular bathtub toy is: 'All these lobsters in a line; Can you pick the greenest kind?' For kids who need extra help, the flashlight tool narrows down the search area and the magnifier tool zooms in on the scene."
