All Ages
Designed Using Actual Aircraft Flight Data
Flight Tested by Real Commercial Pilots
The Jet Age has arrived with the most advanced flight simulation aircraft
and panel collection available.
The Jet Age consists of 25 different aircraft representing popular
airlines throughout the world. The collection is based on 5 different aircraft
models: the Boeing 707, 727, 737, 747, and 767 aircraft. Each model comes with
it's own custom and authentic instrument panel. The panels are fully
functional, including "clickable' radio knobs and overhead consoles. All
available FS98 autopilot functions are selectable from the panels in the 747
and 767 aircraft. Each plane even comes with it's own custom interior and
exterior sounds.
- All aircraft were designed using actual flight data and flight tested by
real commercial pilots. Simply the most realistic simulation aircraft available
today for the desktop computer.
- Accurately rendered colors and graphics on these beautifully designed
jetliners will let you turn your flight videos and screen captures into works
of art.
- Fly an entire fleet of aircraft.. from the first jet version of Air Force
One to the globe spanning 747-200. Your 25 airline liveries and 5 different
aircraft types are fully fueled and awaiting your command for engine startup.
- Clickable panel functions, including all FS-98 autopilot modes, even
auto-throttle, ensures a smooth flight for your passengers even in the worst
weather conditions.
Boeing 707
The 707 ushered in the "Jet Age' of airline transportation. The
original 707 protopype, model 367-80, or the "Dash 80", first flew on
July 15, 1954 and is considered by the Smithsonian Institute to be one of the
twelve most significant aircraft of all time. The "Dash 80" flew
non-stop from Seattle to Baltimore in 3 hours, 48 minutes.
Boeing 727
The 727 was truly the world's most innovative airplane, and prior to the
737, the worlds best selling commercial airliner...jet or propeller. There has
been a total of 1,831 produced and delivered. Here was an airplane that could
take-off at 169,000 pounds, fly 2,000 miles at speeds up to 600 miles per hour
at an altitude of 22,000 feet, and still land and safely stop in less than
4,800 feet.
Boeing 737
The 737 is known as Fat Albert, the ugly duckling of the jet fleet. This is
not exactly a visually appealing name for an aircraft that was destined to
become the worlds all-time sales leader; outselling the 727. And what an
impressive list of customers; 737s are operated by more than 124 airlines and 8
governments.
Boeing 747
TheBoeing 747...the "Jumbo Jet" is the largest passenger-carrying
airplane ever built and flown. "This plane is a pilot's dream" -
Boeing test pilot Jack Waddell, after the first flight of the world's largest
airplane, the 747 prototype, on February 9, 1969.
Boeing 767
Rising costs and the quest for maximum efficiency lead to the creation of
the 767. Designed similarly to its sister ship, the 757, the Boeing 767 makes
use of the latest technolgoies to trim the rising cost of airline operation.
This technological wonder was first rolled out of the Everett plant on August
4, 1981. Less than two months later on 26 September, the aircraft made its
maiden flight.
