Your Mission: Eliminate Gordon Freeman

Half-Life has been named Game of the Year by over 50 publications and dubbed "The best 3D action game ever made," by PC Gamer. Now there is an entirely new episode for the Game of the Year, Half-Life: Opposing Force. Built upon the amazing technology and with the visceral action of the original game, Opposing Force returns you to the Black Mesa Research facility as one of the military specialists sent in to eliminate Gordon Freeman. In addition to its exciting new single-player experience, Opposing Force features a large collection of fresh multiplayer content, including new weapons, player characters and 15 new multiplayer maps.

Look Alive Soldier! And Stay That Way!

There's been an "incident" at a government lab, some God-forsaken place called Black Mesa. It is imperative to National Security that no one learns what has happened there.

You and your squad must infiltrate the lab, eliminate the hostiles, neutralize all resistance and secure the facility. This is no cakewalk. You'll have to rely on your training and trust your fellow soldiers if you want to survive this mission. No one knows what you'll find there, but expect the worst.

So pack your gear, the chopper leaves in 15 minutes.

Requirements:

Windows 95/98/NT4.0/ME/XP: Pentium 133 (P166 preferred), 24MB RAM (32MB preferred), SVGA high color (3D accelerator card preferred), 2x CD-ROM drive, 200MB hard drive space, Win compatible sound card, mouse, keyboard. Half-Life must be installed.

Internet/Multiplayer: 32-bit Internet service provider with 28.8+ modem or Local Area Network.
