Learn French the Enjoyable
Way
This program combines text, graphics, voices and video
sequences to make language learning come alive. A variety of self-access
activities help pupils master essential listening and reading skills. Students
can learn on their own, at their own pace. Full color cartoons and lively video
clips make learning fun. There are 20 interactive lessons and nearly 20 minutes
of video.
Designed for the early stages of learning French, Le
Francais Interactif is based on the best-selling French course, Avantage.
It has been developed in association with Heinemann Education and Rosi
McNab.
The language is introduced and practiced through a variety
of games, with a point-scoring system as an added stimulus. Full-colour cartoon
graphics and lively video clips add to the appeal. As learners progress through
each of the theme-based units, they enjoy getting to know a group of French
children who help to present the materials.
The interface is suitable for children of a wide ability
range. You can hear explanations of each game in English or in French. A pop-up
dictionary gives the English equivalent for all French words used in each
section.
