The Cosmic Quest for Action and
Adventure.
The hit video game blasts onto Windows 95 with 20 insane
levels of hilarious non-stop action. Jim wasn't always a studly super-worm. He
was once just a spineless, dirt-eater with no real mission in life...Then a
cosmic twist of fate placed him in control of an
ultra-high-tech-indestructible-super-space-cyber-suit. Now Jim must make it to
Princess What's-Her-Name by staying clear of Psy-Crow, the intergalactic bounty
hunter, until the final battle with Queen Slug-for-a-Butt.
Bizarre Characters. Battle dozens of demented enemies
including Major Mucus, Evil the Cat, Psy-Crow, Bob the Goldfish, Professor
Monkey-for-a-Head and the ultimate villainess Queen Slug-for-a-Butt.
Challenging Gameplay. Bungee-jump, rocket-ride, walk
the dog, navigate an underwater pod and launch cows in 20 crazed worlds filled
with secret paths, hidden items and bonus power-ups.
Windows 95 Exclusive. Explore enhanced new worlds
immediately whist he convenience of the Autoplay feature, easy online help,
incredible 32-bit processing speed and no installation.
Bonus Desktop Kit included. Add Earthworm Jim sounds
and images to your Windows 95 desktop. Change icons, wallpaper and more.
(Requires Microsoft Plus!)

Requirements: A 100%
Windows 95-compatible computer system (including CD-ROM drive, video card,
sound card and input devices), 486/33 Mhz, VESA Local Bus or PCI video,

Reviews:
CD-ROM Today, May 1996
"The world's first annelid superhero made a splash when
introduced for the Sega Genesis and Super NES more than two years ago.
Earthworm Jim became known for its superb animation, bizarre collection of
characters, and smashing play.
"Now, the game has been ported to Windows 95. Don't let the
new packaging fool you - the box brags about features not available in the
cartridge version. However, the CD-ROM version is nearly identical to
Earthworm Jim: The Special Edition, released a year ago for Sega CD. The
only 'bonus' in this version is it includes a Windows 95 Theme Pack for use
with Microsoft Plus! to add Earthworm Jim wallpaper, icons, and
sounds to your desktop setup."
"One quirk: You must play the game in a default 320x224
resolution window (not coincidentally, the same resolution a Sega Genesis runs
under). It's possible to double the window, but that can slow performance. If
your video card is fast enough to provide a high-res desktop, it can probably
handle Earthworm Jim with ease.
"In its newest form, this fast-paced, funny action game
keeps every crow, cow, and disgusting bodily fluid of the original intact. It's
truly hard to resist."
