"You are Dirk the Daring in Don Bluth's classic animation action game Dragon's Lair. You fight your way from the drawbridge through the snake room, past the Lizard King and other monsters, to the ultimate goal - the Dragon's Lair. Only then can you slay the beast and rescue the fair princess, Daphne.

"The CD-ROM incorporates the same laserdisk scenes and sounds that made the original arcade version a megahit more than a decade ago. To guarantee great performance on home systems, the software can fine-tune itself to your video/sound /CD-ROM components, storing information in a small file on the hard disk about how much of each scene to prebuffer during playback. But be prepared: This process can take a while.
