Reference Conservation is one of three 'mini-discs' (Conservation, Dwindling Resources and Climate Change), addressing key environmental issues. It investigates the need to preserve the natural world, considers the threats posed to wildlife and the environment, and looks at existing schemes for conservation. Through video, text, audio and full color pictures it presents a detailed investigation into key issues of conservation, including the plight of endangered species, the difficulties in preserving areas of natural beauty and the roles of effectiveness of campaign groups and government legislation. NOTE: The contents of this disc are included in the Land & Air main disc.
