Reviews:

Computer & Net Player, February 1997

"Antietam, like Gettysburg and Shiloh before it, explores yet another of the most savage Civil War battles. Fought on September 17, 1862, over several acres of rolling Maryland farmland, Antietam recreates the plodding exploits of U.S. General George McClellan's Army of the Potomac and the resolute defensive operations conducted by Robert E. Lee's inimitable Army of Northern Virginia. Substantive in and of itself, Antietam also includes a separate map and several accompanying scenarios encompassing the action of three days before at nearby South Mountain.

"From the outset, TalonSoft again demonstrates its prowess as an astute wargaming publisher. Combining seductive state-of-the-art graphics, a detailed order of battle, a comprehensive firing and maneuvering system and a truly aggressive and competently directed AI, Antietam represents one of the most attractive, accurately rendered wargames ever."
