B from Just Adventure
"Like Riven you are not only playing a game but also
experiencing a world. A world conceived as a whole, as an entirety. The puzzles
interlock to form one single puzzle. This is a work of art and technology." --
Quandary
Adventure, Mystery and
Intrigue!
This atmospheric graphical adventure is set on Alida, a
guitar-shaped island theme park created by a young and wildly successful band.
But when money woes and paranoia set in, the band splits up, each claiming
different areas of the park, and where each devise strange and elaborate
systems to protect their respective remaining wealth. Each member grows
increasingly isolated and all eventually abandon Alida. Several years later the
bands manager suggests the band get together on the island. Soon
thereafter band member Arin leaves for Alida and is not heard from again. Now,
his wife, Julia, sends you to Alida to find Arin and bring him home.
Alida is an intricate first person 3D graphical adventure

Just Adventure by Robert

"And then came Alida. And it was like deja vu all over
again. Everything about this game from the story to the graphics, from the
sound to the navigation system reminds you of Myst. So I would like to present
to you Alida, one the of the few true Myst clones."
"This is a classic adventure
game. If you enjoy adventure games, then you will enjoy this one. The fact that
it was created by a single person is just amazing. I really wanted to give this
game an A, but the navigation system was so flawed that it dragged
the final score down to a B. Still, get this game. Pay retail for
it. Visit the website and send a nice email to Cos. We need more games like
this."
